Make your fundraising page personal! Share with family and friends your heartfelt reason for raising funds for CHOP’s Cardiac Center!
Send a Text
Looking for a quick and easy way to fundraise? Send a text message with your fundraising page URL to your friends and family. You can even include a fun photo!
Emails
Send individual emails to each of your family and friends. Remember to be specific when asking for a donation! See our Email Writing Tips for more helpful advice.
Ask Everyone
Don’t be afraid to ask everyone you know to support you! What about your co-workers? Relatives? Neighbors? See Fundraising in 7 Days for more ideas.
2x Your Impact
Check with your HR department to see if your employer will match employee donations or search our matching gifts directory for your company name.
Spin-In @ Home
Have an indoor cycling bike? Host a virtual charity ride! Pick a date and a class and encourage a donation to your team page. Use #Spinin4CHOP to follow your supporters as you ride together for CHOP. Spin-In @ Home details.
Express Gratitude
Remember to thank ALL your donors, because without them CHOP would not be the hospital it is today. Tag your donors on social media and recognize them publicly for helping you and your team raise funds for the Cardiac Center.
Create a QR Code
Copy your personalized fundraising page url into a QR-code-generating website and share the code on a flyer or poster for friends and family to donate!
Create a Facebook Fundraiser
Did you know participants with a Facebook Fundraiser raise 3x more? Make it easy for online friends to donate and create yours today! Log in to your event fundraising portal and select “Create a Facebook Fundraiser” to get started!
Link to Us
Even though some posts will be more donation-focused than others, always give people the opportunity to learn more about cardiac care for kids and donate using your personal URL. Looking for your URL? Email phillyspinin@chop.edu for assistance.
Use Hashtags
Use #PhillySpinIn in your posts to make it easy for your friends to follow your fundraising progress. You may even see your post on the Philly Spin-In website!

Engage your Followers
Looking for new ways to fundraise? Try engaging your followers using our Donation Board and Thermometer!
Post an image of the Philly Spin-In Donation Board on your Facebook or Instagram and update as you go by marking an X on the spaces that have been donated. You can even tag who donated in that spot!
Share an image of the Philly Spin-In Thermometer as you reach certain milestone and make sure you recognize your followers for their donation! Make sure to include your customized fundraising link in your profile or tag your Facebook fundraiser so people can make their donation.
Rally Your Team
Use our Instagram story template to rally your team and get everyone excited to ride! Tag your teammates, and don’t forget to tag us @ChildrensPhila so we can follow along!
